Can I turn on the climate control in my Pacifica without starting the gas engine? Sometimes it starts the gas engine even when it's plugged in and fully charged. Also, I can't skip a day on my preconditioning schedule. Is there a way to do that?

As for me, I just pop out to the garage a few minutes before I head out and give that start button a quick double tap. This way, the van and battery get a little warm-up while they’re still plugged in, and doesn't run the gas engine.

Don't you have the Remote Start feature through your key fob or the Chrysler Uconnect app? It should work with one of these two.
