After reporting record sale figures in the first half of 2016, FCA Canada says numbers for August dropped significantly.
August sales dropped 20 per cent, compared to the same month last year, according to a news release from the company.
Chrysler reports record sales in early 2016
Decreased sales brought the rest of the year's numbers down as well. So far in 2016, FCA recorded 199,693 vehicle sales, which is down two per cent when compared to sales at this point last year.
Despite the slow down, the Jeep Grand Cherokee continued to see healthy numbers. Sales for the Jeep were up 33 per cent in August.
The Windsor-made Chrysler Pacifica "continues to gain momentum" with 401 sales in August, the company wrote in its statement.
