The Chrysler Pacifica -- FCA's new minivan -- was the hit of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last January.

So what's the big deal with this sleeker newer model? Can it alone fill the void of the two models it replaces -- the Dodge Caravan and the Chrysler Town and Country. These have been mainstays of the driving American driving for years.

Consumer Watchdog reporter Zlati Meyer checked out the new vehicle at an FCA drive event in Auburn Hills.

That's the best way to take the decision. Reviews are biased for a number of reasons. But the owners are always honest.
