Our garage setup works like a charm right now. I’ve got my ‘21 Pacifica Hybrid, and my wife’s got her plug-in hybrid. The ChargePoint box is perfectly placed so that its cord reaches her car’s charge port in the back and my Chrysler’s in the front without any hassle. Lately, though, I’ve been eyeing fully electric vehicles, maybe a Tesla. But here’s the catch: their charge ports are in different places, and neither of us is too thrilled about the idea of backing into the garage just to charge up. It’s got me thinking, when I eventually go fully electric, will I need to add another charger, move the current one, or come up with a new plan entirely?
