I had the same question a while back. Look for the "Trip" or "Fuel Economy" section in the Uconnect settings. It should have an option to display detailed trip info, including distance traveled.
For me is working great. Nothing to complain about. Just plug it in, remove it quickly then plug it again. It will charge until full. I had a few issues when I bought the car, but they fixed by themselves, I don't know.
